Raccoon removal

Raccoon removal in Central Florida is the attic, the soffit, and the chimney. We find the opening, account for any young, and build it shut. We do not relocate them.

The roof stays on. The usual door is a hole about the size of a fist through a gable vent, one soffit panel pushed out, or a chimney cap knocked loose.

Call or text. Tell us where it is. The inspection is free. The price depends on the animal and the opening.

  • Free inspection

One soffit panel open at the eave, gutter and shingles still attached
One panel at the eave. The gutter and the shingles stay on.

What you notice

This service is for a den in the attic, the soffit, or the chimney. Call when the house is making noise at night or a panel at the eave is no longer flush.

  • Night noise heavier than a squirrel, sometimes young chittering.
  • A fist-sized hole through a gable vent, or one soffit panel pushed out.
  • A chimney cap gone. We cap it only after the flue is empty.
  • Trash opened rather than tipped. Five-toe tracks, front and back.
  • Grease and hair at that gap.

What raccoon removal covers

Attic

Night noise and a den. If young are in there, we do not seal them in.

Soffit

A vent hole or one panel out of its track. We close it in metal a raccoon cannot tear.

Chimney

A cap that is gone. We put one on only after the flue is empty.

What stays true on every job

How raccoon removal works

  1. InspectFind the opening, name the animal, and see whether young are still in the den.
  2. RemoveGet the raccoon out of the structure. Not a ride to the woods.
  3. ExcludeClose it in metal a raccoon cannot tear. Cap only a chimney that is empty.
  4. RepairPut the soffit, flashing, or cap back so the next one cannot walk in. The full steps are on the homepage.

Raccoon removal questions

How do I know a raccoon is in the attic?

The noise is heavier than a squirrel, and young sometimes chitter. Tracks show five toes, front and back. A pulled soffit, a missing chimney cap, or flashing bent back is the usual door. Grease and hair collect at a gap about the size of a fist.

Do you relocate raccoons in Florida?

No. We do not drive a live raccoon off the property. Florida restricts live transport of wild raccoons. The job is getting the animal out of the structure and building the hole shut.

What if there are baby raccoons in the attic?

We do not seal young in, and we do not set a one-way door over animals that cannot leave. The inspection looks for vocal young and a female coming back. Florida does not give this animal one neat season.

Will a trap fix a raccoon in the house?

A trap with the soffit still open does not finish the house. After the animals that can leave are out, the hole is built shut in metal a raccoon cannot tear. Chicken wire and insect screen fail.

How much does raccoon removal cost?

The inspection is free. The price depends on the animal and the opening. Call (321) 205-4972 or use the form and we look at the job before anyone names a number.
