Squirrel removal in Central Florida is the eastern gray squirrel and the southern flying squirrel in the attic. We close the opening. Fox squirrels are a different animal, and this page does not promise to take them.
The roof stays on. A gray squirrel chews a hole, often about the size of a golf ball, at a soffit return, a gable vent, or the ridge. A raccoon tears. If the fascia is ripped outward in a sheet, read the raccoon page.

What you notice
This service is a squirrel living in the attic or the soffit. Call when something is running the roof in the daytime, or when the noise starts after dark and the hole is small.
- Daytime running on the roof, and a chewed hole at the fascia, a gable, or the ridge. That is the usual gray squirrel.
- Noise after dark, a high call, and a gap near an inch or smaller. That can be a southern flying squirrel. A daytime-only look misses them.
- Gnawed wood, and sometimes gnawed wiring. The chew is a reason to close the hole and have an electrician look. It is not a spray.
- A leaf nest in the attic, or squeaking. We do not seal young in.
- A large squirrel on the ground under pines. That can be a fox squirrel. A yard sighting is not an attic job.

Squirrel removal questions
How do I know it is a squirrel and not a raccoon?
A squirrel chews a hole. A raccoon tears soffit and fascia outward. Daytime running on the roof is the usual gray squirrel. Heavier night noise and a fist-sized tear is the raccoon page.
What is a flying squirrel doing in the attic?
Southern flying squirrels are small, nocturnal, and use a tighter gap than a gray squirrel. If the noise is after dark, the inspection has to include that hour.
Do you remove fox squirrels?
No. Fox squirrels are a different animal. We do not promise to take them. A large squirrel on the ground under pines is not an attic infestation.
Will a trap fix a squirrel in the attic?
A trap with the hole still open does not finish the house. After the animals that can leave are out, the chew is closed in metal. Foam fails.
