Identify first

Snake removal

Snake removal in Central Florida starts by naming the animal. Florida has six venomous snakes and many harmless ones that walk into a building. We identify it first. We do not kill native snakes, and we do not use a pesticide.

A snake crossing the yard is not automatically a job. Inside, the work is the opening: a door sweep, a garage threshold, a gap at a pipe, and the rodents that drew it in.

Call or text. Tell us if it is inside or only in the yard. The inspection is free. The price depends on the animal and the opening.

What you notice

This service is a snake in the building, or a gap that keeps letting one in. A single animal crossing the grass is presence, not a nuisance by itself.

  • A snake in the garage, the lanai, or the attic. Most of those are rat snakes, corn snakes, kings, racers, or watersnakes.
  • A gap under the garage door, a missing sweep, or an open chase around a pipe.
  • Rodent sign in the same area. A snake in the attic is often following that food.
  • A shed skin. The species is not settled by the skin alone.
  • A heavy snake near water. Head shape alone does not make it a cottonmouth. Watersnakes are the usual mix-up.

What snake removal covers

In the building

Identify, then a route that does not depend on a spray. Unknown or venomous means people stay back.

The gap

Door sweeps, thresholds, and pipe openings. Hardware cloth where a screen belongs. Ventilation still has to work.

The yard

A snake passing through is not a removal order. Cover and rodent food are the reason it paused.

What stays true on every job

How snake removal works

  1. InspectIdentify the snake from a distance, or stop. Find the gap and the rodent sign.
  2. RemoveA harmless snake with a sure name can be given a way out. We do not promise a ride to the woods, and we do not dump a venomous snake on a neighbor.
  3. ExcludeClose the sweep, the threshold, and the pipe gap. No spray.
  4. RepairThe door and the wall stay tight, and the rodent food goes with them. The full steps are on the homepage.

Snake removal questions

Do you kill snakes?

No. We do not kill native snakes as a service. Most snakes people meet are harmless rat snakes, corn snakes, kings, racers, or watersnakes. We identify the animal before anyone handles it.

Will you spray for snakes?

No. We do not use a pesticide, mothballs, or a granule. The work is the gap and the cover, not a spray.

What if the snake might be venomous?

People stay back. Florida’s venomous snakes are the eastern diamondback, the timber rattlesnake in the north, the pygmy rattlesnake, the cottonmouth, the copperhead in the panhandle, and the eastern coral snake. We do not write first aid, and we do not pick one up to check a rhyme.

Is a snake in the yard an emergency?

A snake crossing a yard is not, by itself, a nuisance. Call when it is inside, or when you cannot tell what it is and people are close to it.

How much does snake removal cost?

The inspection is free. The price depends on the animal and the opening. Call (321) 205-4972 or use the form and we look at the job before anyone names a number.
